The entire Team performed very well at the SIRA Championship Regatta in Oak Ridge TN. All the rowers represented TCU extremely well both on and off the water.
The Men’s Novice Light Weight 4+ placed 2nd overall, with an amazing finish in which Purdue only beat them out by less than 2 seconds. The Women’s Novice 4+ placed first in their final, in one of the closest finishes of the competition.
Men’s 2X (double) placed 3rd in their final.
A big shout out to Faith for doing such an amazing job putting together all the logistics for this event, as well to Kate for all her support during the Regatta. With 50 Universities from across the country competing at this event, this is certainly the Regatta that the TCU Rowing Team should be focusing on in the future. The Team is in a great position to build on the success that they had this years Regatta and increase the number of events they race in next year. So proud of the entire Team.
Row Frogs,
Coach Pete
