The TCU Rowing Team had great results to kick off the 2026 Race Season. Our first event was in Dallas at our annual indoor 2,000m race.  Both the men and women Teams brought home medals.  Our next event will be a water regatta in Austin on Feb 28th.

Celebrated Christmas with the FWRC in a day of fun races and great food during the ROW HO HO.

Baylor Regatta.  November 8th.  TCU had great results with the women’s Novice 8+ and 4+ winning both their races.

The past two weeks have been very busy.  On Sunday Sept 28 we hosted the SteerHead Regatta in Fort Worth Texas.   Just a short week later the entire team headed to OKC for there first away Regatta on Saturday Oct 4th and Sunday Oct 6th.

Here is our Regatta Plan for HOTO (Head of the Oklahoma).  Highlighted in green below the race is where they placed if they reach the medals.   The entire coaching staff is so proud of the entire Team on a very successful first away Regatta.  You will also see a crew photo of the Team at the Saturday Night Sprints where our Varsity Men repeated their victory.

The SteerHead Regatta was cut short on Sunday September 29th as one of the Master Rowers from OKC (John Sanders age 68) suffered from a heart attack.  We held a group prayer time for him with the entire Regatta in attendance.

Here is our official Team Roster of coaches and students for Fall 2025.  We are excited to for our first Regatta on Sept 28th right here in Fort Worth.  Many of our students parents got to come checkout a MCL practice on Parents weekend.  It was great to meet so many of you.

Welcome TCU Students.  It was great meeting many of you at the I Fest, as well as the information meetings.  We will be having Learn to Row every weekday morning at the Rec Center at 6am.   (Outside by the the Volleyball court).  Swing by and check it out.

Please join us this Saturday morning at Marine Creek Lake for a fun lake party.  Free food, introductory dock rowing and option swim to cool you off.

As you can see from the Regatta Schedule we travel to many regattas.

Our weekly standard water practices will be on Tuesday and Thursday mornings before class.   We will also have a Saturday morning practice. Marine Creek Lake which is about 20 minutes from campus is where we will do most of our initially training.  (Learn To Row).
